shutting windows xp pro down

I don't know what I did , but when I used to click SHUT
DOWN , on start menu , I had the option of shutting down
or restarting . Now I have only the option of shutting
down. I want the former dialog box back, with the restart
option.I have no idea why it changed or how to "fix
it".Can anyone help ? thanks

Right click your Start Button and choose properties.
One the Start Menu tab, make sure Classic Start Menu is not selected.
