Shutting down on start up

Please can any one help with this problem.

When I turn system on - XP Home, 2G, 750 ram - it loads then switches off before reloading. When finally loaded the following error messages appear.
1. "The system has recovered fro a serious error"
a log of this error has been created, for more information click here.

On "clicking" the following message is obtained.

Error Signature
BCCode: d1 BCP1:FFFFF800 BCP2: 000000FF BCP3: 00000000 BCP4: FFFFF800 OSVer: 5.1_1_2600 SP:1_0 Product: 768_1

The following files will be included in this error report
ERROR REPORT CONTENTS
C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\mini061804-01.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\FRED&J~1\LOCALS~1\TEMP\WER6.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

This problem is occurring on a regular basis when the system finally settles down it appears to be working correctly. Is this the sign of something major happening or about to happen

Try updating the drivers for the installed video card.
