I need some help in making windows movie maker to work.
After I loaded Windows movie maker 2 to my PC,
it automatically shuts down when you try and use any of
the options i.e make a title screen. I tried d/loading it
again and the problem still occurs. I have tried erasing
the movie maker directory and reinstalling, I have re-
installed all of XP as a repair system, that dont work
and I have tried re-installing movie maker 1 after
deleting registry entries and then re-installing movie
maker 2 ..... nothing seems to work.

Many thanks microsoft for the lack of error message, it
may of helped!!

PLEASE HELP ANYONE

In addition to Paul posting his message, he responded to about 8 other posts
saying that he has the same problem, and asked if they got any answers. Each
of them had been responded to with the 'classic' answer.

He also sent me an email this morning asking the same question. I told him
that I responded to his post.

People use different newsgroup readers. I'm wondering if Paul typifies those
who can see the posts with the problems, but not the answers to the posts.

He's probably using the MS web news interface. From what I've read in the
MVP CH, people are confused because the threads don't open automatically in
it. You have to press the + sign beside the thread to see the responses.
