I AHVE APROBLEM SHUTTING DOWN MY PC THROUGH START MENU
YOUR HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED
 
DON'T YELL :-)

Use lowercaps letter.
Also for your problem you should ask in more appropriate news group like
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general
