Shutdown window

Dumbledore

I am running XP SP2. My question is, how did the shutdown window change to
look like a Windows 2000 shutdown window? My second question is, how do I
change it back to the normal XP shutdown window?

START | SETTINGS | CONTROL PANEL | USERS

Click the option about the way users logon/logoff
You have two checkboxes (welcome screen...), check them both

You can also right-click the Desktop | Properties | Themes tab & choose Windows XP
