shutdown screen

Hi All,

It's me again, I have just finished building a new PC with an athlon 64
processor and have installed Xp Pro with no problems but something wierd
happened on shutdown, the shutdown screen looked like the old windows 95/98
screen except it had Windows Xp logo on it. It never shut the PC down, just
stayed on the screen.
The copy of Windows is a new OEM copy with Sp2 installed and I downloaded
all of the relevant updates.

Any help/comments?
