Shutdown problem...

Hi,
I have a problem that started a few days ago. Whenever I
shut down I get a message saying "Explorer.exe not
responding" and have to force it to close.

A short while after this I get the message saying that
the "connections tray is not responding" and I need to
force that to shut down also. The PC then shuts down.

Any help??

Just a guess, but try turning off your background apps first, ie
antivirus, etc and see if you still get the message.
