Shutdown.exe

Hi

If I shutdown my computer using Start > Shutdown, it is
normal and the computer is turned off. But if I try to
turn it off using "shutdown.exe", I will get "it's now
safe..."

Can anyone please explain this to me or help me resolve
it ?

I would think that is the shutdown.exe from the Resource Kit
(or from WinXP)?

That is a known "issue" with it.


This one usually works better:

PsShutdown.exe in the free PsTools suite
