Hi guys! I am italian so it will be difficult to understand our
suggestions...But I'm going to try.
I have a Vista edition. I use my laptop in a public room where there is WiFi
connection, but my computer OFTEN SHUT DOWN...after it's written that I can
restart with a normal way or in another for a problem with Data.....ect. I
don't know if my problem is for the configuration of "AVG free edition"(anti
virus), a software problem or for my laptop (Dell M1330)...By the way this
problem started with the connection on internet.
May you help me? Please I am in a big problem.
Thanks for your healping...

You need more information about the cause of the restart. Click the Start
orb, and type:
eventvwr.msc
The entry made before any restart will tell you what file is causing the
"Restart On Error" instruction. You can expect this to be a driver file used
by the system for one of your devices (probably the driver for the wireless
connection device)
One possible fix is to open Device Manager (devmgmt.msc) and highlight this
device, then "Action" menu, "Uninstall" then 'Scan For Hardware Changes"
You may need to locate a better driver, written for the device when it runs
on Vista.

Does it only happen in this public room or elsewhere as well? If your
PC constantly shuts down that is a possible sign it can't make or hold
a decent connection. AVG shouldn't be interfering. To rule it out
disable and see what happens. Do others in this room have similar
problems?

Are you holding the laptop in your lap, is it overheating ? if your leg is
cutting off the air to get to the fans they can overheat and shut down.
