Shut Down

I dont know if anyone can help me with this problem. My computer shuts down
everytime I run a cd-rom. I'd be playing a game and it suddenly shuts down. I
dont know how to stop this problem. Please help.
 
How much RAM does your PC have? To play games, most require at least
512megs of RAM to run properly.
