I would like to know if there is a way of shutting down a P.C across a LAN. When I update our NT4 server with Critical updates etc. I would like to ensure that all my users are off the network before rebooting. However, most of them don't bother logging off or are not at their desks and can't be bothered to return to their desk to log off. I would like to know if there is a way that I could shut down a P.C from my Win2K pro workstation. All the other workstations are Win2K Pro as well

Thanks in advance

Richard.

You can use shutgui.exe or shutdown.exe. Both are included with the Win2000
Resource Kit.

Hi

You can e.g. use PsShutdown.exe in the free PsTools suite for this.
