Is there any way to show the current date on the task bar?

Thanks
Lynn

In XP, as far as I know, the only way to show the date ont the toolbar would
be to right click the toolbar and uncheck 'Lock toolbars' and then stretch
the toolbar upwards. But to get the date in you will have to drag it to 3
times its default size, and loose some desktop space.

Hope this Helps,

Simon.

Running the mouse over the 'time' shows today's date..

Actually, twice the default size (i.e. two lines) will do it.

Only two lines are needed, not three. But that's not the only way; there are
several third-party utilities (often freeware) that will do this. My
personal favorite is the freeware program Tclock (note that this is
different from the similarly-named, but inferior in my view, Tclockex.
