Show the desktop icon

I hope that is is an acceptable forum into which to ask if anyone has any
idea how I may get the "show the destop icon" to appear again in the taskbar.
It used to be there, but my son seems somehow to have deleted it. It is
very useful.

Hope some one can help.

Download and run the script from line 61, right hand side,
"Restore/Add Show Desktop to Quicklaunch Bar".

Alternatively, go to this web site and scroll down to "Show
Desktop Icon is Missing".
