show name in To box using a DL in Bcc box

When sending a message to all people in a distribution list I do not want to
show the names in the list to the recipient but I do want the recipients
name to appear in the To box. I can put the DL in the Bcc box to hide the
names but cannot find a way to show the recipient hat the message was
personal to him with his name in the To box.

That would require a mail merge with Word.

I have sort of the same delima but in reverse, I am on a distribution list
but when I receive the email all I see is my name not all the others. We just
installed Exchange 2003.

The sender probably sent you the message using a mail merge. That way, each
recipient sees only his own address in the TO field.
