'Show home page by default' problem

Good day!
I'm trying to use the 'Show home page by default for this folder'
functionality in Outlook, but the webpage uses popup windows. The problem is
that the popup windows would have a different session that the browser
embedded in Outlook. Any suggestions on this?

Don't use Outlook for Internet browsing; use a proper browser for that. The
home page feature is intended to act as a portal not for general browsing.
