Show Explorer in Outlook

Would be nice if it was possible to view Windows Explorer within Outlook.
Maybe this could be an add-on.

At the moment its possible to open webpages within Outlook, so why not be
able to see the files/drives in Outlook as well.

Been there, done that. Old versions of Outlook supported browsing the file
system within Outlook. This has been removed due to the many restrictions
that it had, safety concerns and the focus of the product; it's not a file
browser. You can make shortcuts to your favorite files and directories in
the Shortcuts Navigation. You can even mimic a structure there but you will
open it outside of Outlook.

The same is true for browsing the Internet within Outlook; don't! While it
is possible, it cannot offer all the functionality and security features of
a normal browser. It was designed to display (static) informational portal
pages and not for browsing.
The feature, which includes Home Folders such as Outlook Today, has been
marked as deprecated for some time now, meaning that it is not advised to
develop new applications for this feature. It's currently in there mainly
for backwards compatibility and may be removed some time in the future. It's
not (publicly) determined yet if it will be replaced with something else.
