Show Desktop

I have lost the ability to click the mouse's middle button to toggle Show
Desktop. Noteice that I do have the icon in the Quick Launch toolbar. What
I lost is the ability to click the middle button "anywhere" on the
desktop.

I am running Windows 2000 SP4. In my mouse (MS optical) there are no
relevant settings. I have tried to uninstall some applications which may
have stolen to mouse binding, but no joy. Is there a way to get it back?

Go in the Control Panel and open the mouse applet and see if you can
change it in there.

Thank you, but there is nothing relevant there to change. I guess I
could install the IntelliPoint package, but 6MB+ is a bit of an overkill
just to change the function of a click.
