I know how to make the document show corrections and deletions in word for

Which version of Word for Mac? And what are you asking? How to turn on
Track Changes? How to change the way they are viewed?

Depending on how you answer those questions, the answer probably involves
Word>Preferences>Track Changes, the reviewing toolbar, and Tools>Highlight
Changes.

If you're a Mac user, you should realize there are Mac-specific newsgroups
you can ask your question in:

I did not realize there was a mac newsgroup. We on;y have one mac user at
work out of 100 computers. But when we went to track changes, the list did
not show up, like there was nothing listed under that option. That is the
problem I am having.

I can't see your computer, so I really can't tell what you are talking
about, so you need to be *very* specific. And if I don't know which version
of Word you are using, I can't give you accurate information beyond the
three locations I already suggested.

What list did not show up?

What do you mean by "went to track changes"? What exactly did you do?

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to turn on Track Changes? Or
have changes already been tracked, but you can't see them?

*What version of Word*? Very important.

Where it says Tools>Options, substitute Word>Preferences. If you are using
Word X, use the Word 2000 directions. If you are using Word 2004, use the
Word 2002/2003 directions. It's really quite similar to the WinWord
settings.
