Show and copy values in formula bar containing a formula

If I have a formula in a cell or cells, is there a way I can view and/or copy
the values/results from that formula in the formula bar?

Actually, I'm wanting to copy part of the value (not the formula) from the
formula bar and then paste into another cell. Since the formula is in the
formula bar, I haven't seen where I can view the value in the formula bar.
