should uninstall old version for new version?

I have Word 2002 on my computer and want to install new software
"Microsoft Office 2007 suite". Should I un-install Word 2002 first ?
 
No, install Office 2007 over Word 2002 so that your settings will be
retained. Or you might want to install side by side if you want to keep Word
2002 as a fallback.
