Shanthi

I have created one web page with one hyperlink, linked to
an exe. When i click that hyperlink it asks me like "would
you like to open the file or save it to you computer".

This is a good one. But in this case i want to run that
specific exe without any question. Is it possible to
rectify.

If any suggestion would be greatly appreciated

No.
Not from a link in a web page. You can't launch an executable from a browser window / html
document.

There is no solution, as their is no problem.

Is this a requirement from a PHB who can't, and/or won't, accept the fact
that a Web application != Desktop application?

Bob Lehmann

Have the visitor / viewer download the file to their desktop and then run it from the desktop.

Exactly what are you trying to do anyway??

Just giving myself a little spanking. That's one of my pet peeves - the
