should I update office xp before installing win xp sp3

my win xp is at sp2 installed.

I am downloading xp sp3 for installing my win xp to sp3 level.

Should I download update of office xp first and update that to
sp2 level BEFORE installing win xp sp3?

There is no Windows XP SP3.

You'll have to because SP3 STILL doesn't exist.

Like Mike just said, there has been NO SP3 for Windows XP released yet. The
latest Service Pack for XP is SP2.

MSOffice updates should not be effected by whatever version of the operating
system that you have installed.

Windows update is your SOURCE for Windows updates and Office Updates.

There IS NO WINDOWS XP SP3 available, if you find one it's a hack and
not put out by Microsoft.

As for Office updates, when you open the Windows Update page, click on
the "Office Family" button, then select the "Office Update - check for
updates" button and it will provide you with all you need.

THERE IS NOT WINDOWS XP SP3 software.

There is an Office XP SP3 update if I remember correctly, but not a
Windows XP SP3 udpate.

Service Packs are inclusive, just install OFFICE SP3 and it
will do SP1 and SP2 where needed.

Windows XP SP3 is illegal right now because Microsoft doesn't offer it yet.
I believe SP3 for XP isn't coming out until sometime in 2007 - after Windows
Vista releases. Microsoft's main focus right now is Windows Vista, not
Windows XP SP3.

Since you quoted me - how does that differ from what I said - Windows XP

Apart from the fact that there is no WinXP sp3, Windows updates and Office
updates are completely independent of one another.
