I have read that alg.exe helps internet connection sharing and the xp
firewall. I have a router based firewall, and do not use connection
sharing, so I was wondering if there was some way to stop this from running
by default, or if this would cause problems I hadn't considered.
Also, is it typical to have 5 copies of svchost.exe running (3 system
(users), one local service and one network service)?
Thanks,
