I was suckered into using the trial edition of Microsoft Office outlook
without any warning about losing all emails and data during trial after
expiration.

This is a very dirty trick and does not speak very well as to Microsofts'
ethics.

If you had no intention of buying Microsoft Office 2003, why did you use the
trial and then make documents that you required? Sorry, but trial versions
are just that, to give you a glimpse of new features. It is not for
production work that you need to keep.

Go here:
www.openoffice.org

and download and install the latest version of Open Office. It's free and
will open, read and edit all your documents.
