Should be able to make a collage item have ragged edges.

When making a collage, or adding any image, it is usually a rectangular item.

For a collage, I like to be able to make the item I'm adding have ragged
edges, and be able to allow overlaps, like an actual paper collage.

Thanks!

Instead of just adding the picture as a picture, try adding it as the fill
for an autoshape. Use the autoshape toolbar to add the shape you want to the
slide, then right click the shape and select "Format AutoShape". On the
colors and lines tab, click the drop down for the fill. From the dropdown,
select Fill Effects. Click the last tab (Picture) and navigate to your
picture. OK your way out.

Kathy -- I thought that AutoShapes would be involved, this is great. Thank
you. Do you know if there are any "torn paper images" available as
autoshapes. I guess that is what is really needed. If there were a few of
those, this would be done. Again, thanks...

Using your AutoShapes > Lines > Freeform Tool, you can draw both the straight
edges and the ragged edges. Then follow the steps Kathy gave you.
