I'm trying to find this out but so far not good. I want
to remove some programs that start every time I boot my
computer. And for the love of God, I cannot find the
location of this shorcuts.

Thanks in advance.

START RUN type msconfig hit return, this will bring up
System Configuration Utility. Startup tab will show
location of where everything starts from untick those that
you do not want to start at boot up. The locations will
also give a good steer on where the programmes can be
found.

Start/Run/type "msconfig" (less quote markers) and click OK/then click the
Start/Startup Tab/you will see the programs from the Starup Menu with a
checkmarked box beside each/any you want removed from Startup, uncheck the
box. If you later want to restore it to startup, go back and restore the
check.

or
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
respectively, delete lines in the right pane.

Startup or Common Startup - right click the Start button, take Open or
'Open All Users' and in either open the Program folder, then in that the
Startup one
