Hi,

I had Outlook 2000, but the CIS guys put Outlook 2003 on
my system. Anyway, I use a shortcut toolbar to quickly
access a lot of things. There used to be a shortcut icon
for new email/message which I could open and send an
email no matter in which folder I was in (i.e., I could
send an email while I was in excel without having to go
to outlook). I can't seem to find a way to put the
shortcut email icon on the bar again. Please advise.

Thanks,
Lisa

Thanks, but I didn't mean on the toolbar itself. I meant
the Microsoft Office Tool bar. Please advise.

Thanks,
Lisa

There is no Office Toolbar anymore. You can create a normal Windows Toolbar
by dragging and dropping a folder to the edge of your screen when displaying
the Desktop. Add the following shortcut to it;
"path to outlook.exe" /c ipm.note

Yep, the one that you can automatically launch on Windows logon. I meant
that bar as well. It has been dropped since Office XP.

Well you can easily recreate it. Just make a folder with all the shortucts
you want and drag and drop that folder to the edge of your screen when the
desktop is visible
