Josh

I'd like to create a shortcut to go straight to the "Offire Remote
Assistance" page. Is there a way to do this?

I'm getting tired of F1 -> Tools -> Offer remote assistance. I've
tried adding it to my favorites in Help and Support and copying the
link location into a shortcut but that only results in an error.

Thanx,
Josh

Hi Josh,

The Shortcut to Remote Assistance is in Windows Messenger and Windows
Live Messenger, but it is not Offer Remote Assistance, but known as "Request
remote assistance". Very simple and straight forward. It is located under
Actions and can't be any simpler.

For Windows Live Messenger, it is to click Actions then click "Request
remote assistance" and then wait for the person wanting to help to Accept.
It is faster than E-mail Remote Assistance.

Rightclick the blank desk, and choose New/Shortcut.

The command is:

%SYSTEMROOT%\system32\rcimlby.exe -LaunchRA
