I use a slide show for my screen saver. At present I copy the pictures I want
on the screen saver from the file 'MY PICTURES' into "MY PICTURES SLIDE
SHOW". Can I put short cuts in the Slide Show file instead of a copy of the
picture.
This would save disk space by not having to dupeclate the picture in the
slide show file.

Charlie, I think you are out of luck on that one. I just did the definitive
experiment, using shortcuts to three of my photos, and when the screen saver
kicked in, I got this somber message on a black screen, to the effect that
"there were no documents to be found." It would have been nice, had it
worked. Keep in mind, though, that 1 Gig of hard drive costs about 50 cents
(if you buy in "bulk"!)

Maybe rather than copy them to the slide show folder 'Move' them there.
Then if you feel the need, put shortcuts to them in the MyPictures folder
