Short Cut Keys

M

Mike

Hi, not a hard question for you guys.

I use the keyboard short cuts, opposed to the mouse and
the Menu bar. I find it a lot easier. Produce a lot of
Excel Spread sheets and this is pretty much the only
function I use that I don't know the short Cut.

I have hunted high and low on the Internet and on the help
files how to simply merge cells with a keyboard short
cut. So far I'm sane, but I don't know for how much
longer!

Would really appreciate it if you could help.

Off the top of my head, I couldn't tell you.

But after researching and not finding an answer, I'd just
write a basic macro and apply a keyboard shortcut to that,
thereby creating the shortcut for yourself.

Will let you keep your sanity until you can obtain the
answer.

"Mike",

It's amazing what you'll do when you're bored. <g>

IAF, you can (CTRL&) drag copies of buttons to the menu bar. So you could
have a copy of the merge button right of &Help, then ALT+H, RightArrow,
Enter.

Wait up, this is fun. You can copy & drag the merge button to first item on
the Format menu. Then you can ALT+O and Enter.

Bored again now,
Andy
