In My Music folder, the links to shared music folder disappered from the
other places pane. How to restore it ?

Check the following, dxs9340:

1. Open Start, Run, type (without the quotation marks) 'control folders' and
click OK.

2. Select View, click 'Show hidden files and folders' and uncheck 'Hide
protected operating system files (Recommended)'. Then click OK.

3. Browse your C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music folder
and double-click the Desktop.ini file (if it does not exist, create it). Its
content should be:

[.ShellClassInfo]
[email protected],-12689
IconFile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll
IconIndex=-237
[email protected],-28995

4. Save the file, Open Start, Run, type (without the quotation marks) 'cmd'
and click OK.

5. Type the following command and press ENTER:

attrib +r "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\My Music"

6. Restart the computer.

If the above didn't work, examine carefully your shell folder paths and
verify they're right:

http://windowsxp.mvps.org/usershellfolders.htm

The shortcut is still missing and the paths are ok.
