Shifting objects off sheet

I got by my last message by closing and then re-opening my
workbook. Now, I am trying to hide some columns that are
full and I get a message: "Cannot shift objects off sheet."

When I go to EDIT > GO TO > SPECIAL > OBJECTS, I get the
message: "No objects found."

How can I hide these columns???? Brad E.

You could have a comment that would be off the sheet when you try to hide your columns. Try moving your comment (not the red indicator) to be to the left of the columns you are hiding.

Right click on the cell
Select edit comment
Click and drag the box to the left.

Also, Dave Peterson posted this advice:

getting resized causing the trouble.

Maybe enabling: Tools|Options|View|Comment and indicator
(at least for a little bit will help.)
