Shift+Insert Stopped Working

Shift+Insert for pasting has stopped working. On Tools, Customize, Options
tab, Keyboard, Categories Edit, Commands EditPaste, the Current Keys are
Ctrl+V and Shift+Insert. Ctrl+V works. Help!! How do I get Shift+Insert
to work again? Thanks!!

You could try checking the box for "Use the INS key for Paste" on the Edit
tab of Tools | Options.

I tried that and while that makes pressing only the Insert key work like
Shift+Insert, you can no longer press Insert and go into overtype mode.
