Shift-Ctrl-DownArrow

When I use shift-ctrl-downarrow to copy a cell to the end of a section
it often wants to copy all the way to the end of the sheet instead. How
do I always ensure that shift-ctrl-downarrow will copy down only to the
end of the data in adjacent columns?
 
You can do this in two stages

Control shift 8 followed by Control left arrow an appropriate number o
times
