i have a little question:

Does shell.application aplly/work with virtual directories or paths?

What happened when you tried it?

when using it to retrieve metadata from some files in an ASP page (in
this case owner and author) instead of returning the actual author
(i.e. "ember") it retrieved the type of info (in this case, it
retrieves "author" in all of the files listed)...

is there a solution to this?

if needed i'll provide the code for the page!
