Sheet Name

Hello,
I have some code that looks at sheetnames to see if any have been deleted.
The code is shown below. The problem I have is that if a sheet is named a
number,the code does not recognize the name: For example, suppose I have
sheet names 3 and the number 3 in cells(icount,4) in the code below. The
line:

If shtname.name = cells(icount,4) returns false.

How can I get around this? The code is below.
