Sheet Background Color

I've have a file in which the worksheet is completely colored in gray and no
gridlines showing. There is no background color applied that I can find.
The gray is exactly same color as the row and column identifier background
color. How can I remove this color or change the color?

Try this:

select all of the data on the spreadsheet (hit ctrl+a) go to edit ->
clear -> formats

Click VIEW in the menu and select NORMAL. It sounds like you're in PAGE
BREAK PREVIEW view.

Thanks Kevin. That was it. I spent an hour fooling around trying to figure
it out.
