Sharing Workbook Online

My employer is setting up an intranet that we both will be able to access no
matter where we are. We track our projects in an Excel workbook.

Is there a way to share the workbook online and allow changes by anyone who
accesses it?

You can save the file to the server and everyone access it from the server or
put it into a folder and make the folder a shared folder by right clicking on
the folder, properties, select sharing.

I'm sorry, I forgot to say that we are in remote locations with no LAN
connection (and don't have a VPN set up yet). I'm looking for an online
solution.
