Sharing violation??

I am using A2K and Windows2K.

I have had a problem with a form that now seems to have had the effect that
Windows thinks that someone has the db open when in fact I know that no-one
does.
The db has become unusable. It's just a frontend db, and I have an
up-to-date backup, so I want to delete the problem db but I can't - I keep
getting a message about a sharing violation.

What can I do? Hope someone can help.

Many thanks

When you open a front end database you are also opening the back end.
It could be a problem at the back end.

Look for YOURFILENAME.LDB files at both the back end and front end.
Make sure no one is accessing the back end (includes those with front ends
open) and then delete the LDB files. Note: you need full access (read write
create and delete) to the directories where the back end and front end are
located.
