Sharing Violation

I take the following error messsage when I try to save an
excel file on a server at the network.
Please help.

" Your changes could not be saved to ' xxxx.XLS' because
of a sharing violation. Excel has created a temporary file
with your changes preserved, called ' xyz00000' you can
save or....."

There is no other user who opened this file before me, so
what can I do for this.

This might be a virus scanner problem. Try changing the settings of the
scanner.
