Sharing Program Files/Windows Subfolders in XP Home? Help Please.

Windows XP Home: I have learned that in XP Home you can't share the
Program Files and Windows folders. But people have stated that you
can share subfolders, such as c:\program files\microsoft. I have
shared specific subfolders, but I can't seem to access the subfolders
on another computer. (I am trying to backup computers over a small
network). Thanks!!

Just a quick thought...the programs folder has a read

only attribute on it automatically...you have probable
removed it but if you havnt it might help...cheers...skot

Great thought Skot. I tried that and still no luck. Anyone else have
any suggestions?
