I am in the process of doing some engineering research, and am required to run several large numerical models that can take several hours to complete. Is there any way I can get my computer to use the processors of other computors on a XP LAN to speed up the calculation time. It is a dongel based software package so the program can only run on one machine

Thank
Robert

Not unless the program is specifically written to operate in a distributed
way.
Contact the vendor and see if there is such an option.

Alternatively, the program may have the ability to use dual processors or
hyper-threaded processors in one machine.
Ask them that too.

Then you'd need to get a dual cpu box...
