Sharing Problem

I just got a new laptop. It runs Vista Home Premium and is wireless. I'm
trying to connect over a network so that I can use the printer connected to
my Desktop which is running XP home edition.

I got the network connected and set up but whenever I try to connect to the
printer I get an error message saying "Windows cannot connect to the printer.
Access is denied."

Any help would be great.

For the test, turn off all firewall and security software. Can you access the printer? If not, use net view \\xpipaddress to check the status. This link may help too
