I have a Windows 2000 machine and a Windows ME machine. I use to be able to
share in both directions. However, now when I attempt to access a file from
the Windows 2000 machine it gives a error message "Not enough memory is
available, Quit some programs". The Windows 2000 computer has 1 GB of
memory. The ME computer has 500MB of memory and indicates resources are 77%
free. Only background programs are running on the 2000 computer. What is
going on here?.

This problem is usually resolved by re-applying the latest service pack.

Thanks for your response,

I did re-apply the Service Pack 4 and this did not resolve the problem. Any
more things to try?

The problem has been solved by "Uninstalling" File and Printer Sharing and
then "Installing" the same on the 2000 computer..
