We have 4 XP Pro machines on a network and want to be able to print from any
of the 4 Canon IP3000 inkjet printers we have connected. Right now we can
only print from one of the XP Pro machines. Is it possible to connect the
printers where we can print from any Canon printer on any of the XP Pro
machines in case one of the XP Pro machines goes down? Thank you.

Greetings

You can buy external print servers for each printer and that way you will be
able to print from any computer to any printer. THe external print servers
will neet to connect to your network (need an IP) and that should be it. You
can get an external print server for $50-100.

I use a USB print server by Linksys. Works fine.

Hope this helps.
