Hi, My daughter and her friend are working on a Senior
High School project when they return to school using
Power point, I want to allow the friend to install our MS
Office 2002 for students on her computer so that they can
go between houses to work on presentation, as single
parents we are unsure whether I can do this, the other
parent can't afford to buy the CD for just this project.
can I install the CD to the other student's home
computer, so that they can see their presentation on
either computer? Thanks,

Kim

You can do this no problem it will work fine only its not
exactly legal as the license for using this software only
covers your home computer but this dosnt stop milions of
others.

so its up to you

Kim;
No, that version is licensed to only one computer.

Office 2003 Students and Teachers has a 3 computer license.
I am not sure if that license would allow on 3 computers of unrelated
people, you would need to check the EULA.

"no problem"?
Violating an agreement you make is "no problem"?
What is your word worth??

Greetings --

No, I'm afraid you can't. What you want to do is a clear
violation of the license under which you're using Microsoft Office,
and is considered by many to be software piracy.
