Sharing files

I am trying to share a folder with a Macintosh on my local network. Can any
direct me on how to do this? I have done this before with my Windows NT 4.0
machine a long time ago, but I have a new computer.

What version of Mac OS are you running? If OSX, you need to run Samba.
Look in the Mac's network settings. Here is a link to information on

If you Google using the search term, "file share Macs Windows", you'll
get a lot more links if that one doesn't have what you want.
