Sharing files on home wireless network

I am trying to share files on my two computers. One is a
laptop that I use at school on a domain. Since the laptop
is part of a domain, how can I share files/printers at
home without using workgroups?

I've run a ping test and everything checks out fine and
I've enabled file sharing. However, I can't see the
computers on the wireless network when I check under my
network places.

I've searched the Microsoft site and found nothing. Any
help would be much appreciated, as I've been trying to
figure this out for weeks!

You have to have the computer so that it joins the same
domain or uses the same workgroup.

Perhaps I should restate the question. How can I have my
laptop, which is part of a domain, talk to my desktop
computer which is part of a workgroup? The laptop cannot
be part of a workgroup, because this will knock me off the
school's domain.
