Sharing Database in multiuser enviroment

Database Version: MS Access 200
Running under : MS Access 2002 (MS Office XP
Data Location : Server (Linux enviroment
Front-End : Local P

This database created using MS Access 2000 and working properly in MS Access 2000 previously. Initially created to share data between 2 PC and data file located in one of this PC. The table was splited from the database

Now, changing using MS Access 2002 (MS Office XP) and table file located in server. Sometimes multiuser can access the file but sometimes it cannot. Error "Could not use [table filename]; file already in use

Any suggestion or comments

Typically, this error occurs when ther are insufficient permissions on the
server. Every user needs to be able to create and delete files or the LDB
(locking file) cannot be used. If the LDB file cannot be created, only 1
user can connect to the database at a time.
