Sharepoint access vs SSL (2)

I've noticed that none of the Sharepoint websites I access
have SSL running....
I'm wondering about that with respect to a lot of work done
accessing the Sharepoint sites from "open" locations...

So - thoughts on running HTTP vs HTTPS for your Sharepoint sites
when accessed via the Internet ?

yeah - sorry -
had Outlook.general & Sharepoint.general listed next to each other,
and clicked on the wrong one
